As a fellow mer-fan (esp. of mermales XD) I would like to host a special contest to anyone on Deviantart for this year's MerMay!
Here's the details:
Artist and Writers alike can enter this contest by doing an art piece or a short story inspired or based off of a certain theme.
This theme will be "Merman in a Strange Situation." 
Basically anything goes with this theme, just as long as it features well... a Merman in a strange situation. Whether that be in a setting under the sea, on dry land, it could even be in space for all I care-The sky's the limit here and I'm more than open to seeing some creative, unique and interesting submissions for this theme!

Any and all art is accepted for this contest.
as long as the entry features or corresponds with the theme of a merman in a strange situation, anything goes.
